4. Cyprus shall not put its territory at
the disposal of international military operations other than with the consent
of both constituent states; until the accession of Turkey to the European
Union, the consent of Greece and Turkey shall also be required. |
Comments
The above is incompatible with Cyprus obligations as an EU member and a member of the ESDP or with the principles of a federation as demanded by UN resolutions and is confederal in nature, and turns Cyprus into a foreign protectorate. It will also render Cyprus incapable of defending itself though the use of de-facto veto’s that are inconsistent with EU principles and federal system. It also constitute a form of blackmail and must be amended.
